Real Salt Lake took a tough loss Saturday night in Los Angeles, falling apart in the second half in a 3-0 loss to the L.A. Galaxy.

After a 0-0 mark through one half, the head of star Zlatan Ibrahimovic started L.A.'s run.

In the 61st minute, RSL (7-7-1, 22 points) keeper Nick Rimando tried to punch away an attempt in front of his net but the ball instead bounced up harmlessly and into position for Ibrahimovic's skilled skull, which bopped the ball into the net.

Six minutes later, L.A. (6-7-2, 20 points) scored again when Servando Carrasco sent a deep entry pass into the box and into position for another Ibrahimovic header, snaking the ball past Rimando and inside the far post for a 2-0 lead.

It took only nine minutes more, in the 76th minute, for Ola Kamara to put a lefty flick past Rimando for a 3-0 lead.

RSL fell from third place to a tie for fifth in the Western Conference with Saturday's action.

LAFC (24 points) appeared to have salvaged a draw against San Jose with a tying goal in the 90th minute, then scored in the seventh minute of stoppage time to win and vault to third place.

Vancouver (23 points) demolished Orlando 5-2 to move into fourth, and Portland (22 points) played to a 0-0 draw with Sporting KC to pull even with RSL.
